Articles::Week 14 Useful Waiver Pickups (December 5, 2006)

Here are some players that may still be available on the waiver wire that you can pickup and use to solidify your team.

1. Matt Jones, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
After dealing with nagging injuries throughout the year, Jones finally seems to be fully healthy. He has scored touchdowns the last two weeks and Garrard seems to be looking his way more often. He has the most skills of any Jacksonville receiver and he should continue to see more looks in the next few weeks.

2. Jerious Norwood, RB, Atlanta Falcons
Norwood had another great game in week 13 and flashed some of his amazing physical abilities. When he gets the carries, he seems to really shine. Dunn is still the starter but Norwood should continue to grab more carries from him and he is a great option to stash away if you are in a keeper league.

3. Vince Young, QB, Tennessee Titans
He keeps putting up great numbers and leading the Titans to wins. He has become a decent starting quarterback and his value as a keeper option keeps rising. If he's still available, grab him before the playoffs and add a decent backup quarterback to your roster.

4. Ben Utecht, TE, Indianapolis Colts
Dallas Clark will most likely be out for the remainder of the regular season and Utecht will step into his role. Utecht has great hands on his 6-foot-6 frame and he will provide a great target for Manning in the coming weeks. If you need some TE help, grab Utecht this week since he has some decent matchups in the next few weeks.

5. Marty Booker, WR, Miami Dolphins
Thanksgiving Day seemed to be Booker's coming out party. After posting two touchdowns on national television, he has continued to be Joey Harrington's favorite receiving option. Last week against Jacksonville, he had 5 catches for 61 yards and a TD and over the last 3 weeks, he has 18 catches for 260 yards and 3 TDs. If you need a receiver, grab him before someone else does.
