Articles::Week 12 Useful Waiver Pickups (November 22, 2006)
Here are some players that may still be available on the waiver wire that you can pickup and use to solidify your team.
1. Arlen Harris, RB, Detroit Lions
Kevin Jones was injured last week and he may have a high ankle sprain which will limit his time this week. In relief duty, Harris had 10 carries for 40 yards and a TD. If you have Jones, pick up Harris for sure.2. DeAngelo Williams, RB, Carolina Panthers
Surprisingly, DeShaun Foster is dealing with injuries once again this year. Williams stepped in during week 11 and had 20 carries for 114 yards. If Foster's elbow injury becomes a nagging problem, Williams can be the starter the rest of the year.3. Jason Campbell, QB, Washington Redskins
In Campbell's first outing, he put up respectable numbers and if you're looking for some QB help, Campbell may be a good option to grab now and hang on to before someone else does. He's not the next Peyton Manning but he has the potential to be a serviceable backup on your team.4. Jeff Garcia, QB, Philadelphia Eagles
With Donovan McNabb's injury, Jeff Garcia steps into the starting role. He has some decent players around him with Westbrook, Stallworth, Brown, and Smith all great pass catching targets. He is nowhere near as good of a fantasy option as McNabb but if you lost McNabb from your team, seriously consider giving Garcia a shot.5. Devery Henderson, WR, New Orleans Saints
Marques Colston also suffered a high ankle sprain last week and he may be hampered in week 12 and he might even miss some time with the injury. Henderson stepped up last week with 9 catches for 169 yards. Even when Colston comes back, Henderson can be a decent number 3 receiver.
